I attended the official premier on 3rd March of my setting of Ave Maris Stella at the glorious Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, beautifully sung by Coral Cantiga conducted by Monserrat Meneses. 

This piece won the award for best composition for mixed choir in the prestigious Orfeó Català Composition Competition in Spain. 362 scores were assessed from 219 composers from 51 nationalities. The concert also featured several choirs singing the winning entries from a variety of categories – a joyful celebration of new music in a packed concert hall.  You can download a pdf and listen to a private recording by Tenebrae from the Scores page.
